And we're off!

After an early morning drop-off at  Heathrow T2 (thank you Christopher) our journey was long but pretty uneventful. A very comfortable flight to Singapore in Premium Economy (recommended) watching Europe hammer the USA in the Ryder Cup, which was nice. A couple of hours transfer at Changi airport (which is really impressive) and a quick 2.5 hours flight down to Bali. On time, bags made it too, easy transit through Denpasar airport. Our driver, a very nice man called Joko (not scottish), was already there for the transfer to the hotel where we arrived just after 12pm local time. A very long day, not much sleep so very tired but happy to finally be on our way.

TBH not much to share photo-wise at this stage but here's a few of us at Changi airport and our first beer of the holiday.
